Design Concept - Villa Park Redevelopment

Aston Villa Football Club has unveiled revised plans for the redevelopment of the North Stand at Villa Park. Building on the original scheme which received planning permission in 2021, the updated proposals—designed by Grimshaw—focus on the refurbishment of the existing stand while expanding its capacity to 12,000 seats. This upgrade will bring the overall stadium capacity to over 50,000 ahead of the UEFA European Championships 2028. The project is currently targeting completion in 2027.
