DATUM brings together Løgstør’s rowing, diving, sailing, and winter swimming clubs under one roof in a hybrid watersports facility focused on community, functionality, and sustainability. The building draws on Løgstør’s architectural heritage while offering flexible spaces that support both large events and smaller gatherings year-round.

Through the integration of LCA, LCC, BSim, Be18, ClimateStudio, and structural engineering analysis, the building is optimized for material use, daylight, indoor climate, energy class, and structural performance, without compromising the architectural concept or quality. The spatial transition between the clubhouse and storage/workshop areas has been carefully designed with attention to tactility and spatial flow, encouraging interaction across the clubs.

The building opens visually toward Frederik VII’s Canal, establishing a strong connection to its surroundings through changes in pavement and a platform linking the facility to the waterfront. Its layout promotes accessibility, movement, and opportunities for rest and social interaction for all users, creating an inviting and functional public space.
